Library Functions, Services and facilities:
The Central Library offers its readers various ‘value-added’ services in addition to all common and routine type of services. The Library functions, services and facilities are offered as follows:

Apart from these, the library provides administrative support to the college during events, examinations, admissions, and other college work.
Reader’s / User’s services
Circulation:
The library follows an Open Access policy; you can pick any book from the shelves and refer to it in the library or borrow it.
The library has a good collection of national and international standard reference tools like Encyclopaedia, Dictionaries, Yearbooks, bibliographies, Atlases, Maps and other reference titles. Items in the Reference Collection may only be used within the library.
They are not circulated. However, you may photocopy or scan these items at many locations within the library.
If an item you find in the Library Catalog is located in the Reference Collection, this information will be displayed at the bottom of the record:
Reference materials hold a wealth of statistical, governmental and background information. The items pertinent to our collection may be in English, Marathi or Hindi.
Reprography and Printing
The photocopying and printing service is available within the library and on campus (IT Building) through an external agency from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm at reasonable charges. A user can get the xerox of desired documents on payment basis. The library supports the copyright policy.

The library has 20 computer terminals for internet use. In addition, the internet and Wi-Fi service is available on personal devices on request and adhering to the defined internet access policy.
Remote Access
The library uses the Libsys Discovery services and the Knimbus Digital Library portal, which provides round-the-clock access to all the subscribed and open-access e-resources on any device from anywhere.
Inter Library Loan (ILL)
The library has institutional membership and MoUs with other Institutional libraries. You can contact the librarian or the library circulation desk to know more about the access details.
User Orientation
The library offers regular orientation programs to its users on the subscribed resources collection, services and other facilities.
SMS/Email Alerts
The library transmits alerts as SMS/Email text messages to the users about transactions, new arrivals, news clips, and events in the library.
Visiting Information
We welcome the use of the library by our alumni, former employees and external members for their research and reference as per the specified norms.
Outreach Activities and Services
The library promotes its collection and services through many customers connect initiatives and outreach activities like the Book-Port Pop-up library, library@classroom, departmental libraries, displays, presentations, newsletters, and knowledge club.
Book-Bank Facility:
The library maintains a separate book-bank collection of more than 5000 textbooks and reference books to offer its users the best of its individual and group book-bank facilities. This facility is offered in different categories and can be availed by all students by applying in the requisite application form mentioned in the book-bank notification issued from time to time.
